Inter American University adds Aerosim's B737 JetPac to their curriculum

Inter American University of San Juan Puerto Rico has added Aerosim's B737 JetPac™ metered access program with Virtual Flight Deck™ to their curriculum. An instructor copy of the Virtual Flight Deck will be used in the classroom as a presentation tool, complimented by follow-up work the students will do using the JetPac/VFD metered access program. Implementation is expected to take place for the Fall 2007 Semester.

University of Alaska at Anchorage adds Aerosim's JetPac™ & Virtual Flight Deck™ for the CRJ200

The University of Alaska at Anchorage has added Aerosim's JetPac and Virtual Flight Deck™ (VFD™) for the CRJ200 to their curriculum. The VFD will be used in the classroom as a presentation tool, while JetPac will be used by the students for study outside of the classroom.

This is especially true with consideration to the current hiring trends as a result of a significant pilot shortage in commercial aviation. Aerosim's Collins 4200 FMS Trainer simulates a generic version of a typical Collins 4200 type FMS. It includes representative simulations of the FMS for preflight and in-flight procedures. Arizona State University has selected the Aerosim Simulated Aircraft Hardware: Rockwell Collins 4200 FMS CDU for their training program. The CDU is being used in the ASU computer lab connected to an Aerosim CRJ200 VFD.
