Aerosim Aviator™ Flight Simulator Training Devices are compliant with FAA 14 CFR Part 60 and are certifiable as level 5 or 6 Flight Training Devices. At the Level 6 certification they feature an aircraft specific shell and flight deck, offering the form, fit, feel and function of a Full Flight Simulator without the motion.
The experience is further enhanced by sophisticated sound and audio simulation and an optional 220º field of view, multi-channel visual system that provides cues in day, dusk and night VFR and IFR conditions.
Aviator™ Flight Simulator Training Devices provide effective training for pilots in use of an automated flight deck, systems integration and other procedures to include; work load management, situational awareness and decision making all in normal, abnormal and emergency conditions.
The devices are ideal for training conducted prior to entering the Full Flight Simulator or actual aircraft. Training programs supported include; Initial Training, Recurrent Training, LOFT Type Scenarios, Crew Resource Management, Multi-Crew Coordination and Pilot Proficiency.
The instructor operating station is located aft of the cockpit, with the floor of the instructor’s facility at the same level as the cockpit floor. It is fitted with an audio jack for voice communication between the crewmember stations and instructor or check airman.
The station allows easy access to simulation settings, freezes, repositions and environmental parameters including wind and visual conditions. A malfunctions tab allows the instructor to trigger events for non-normal and emergency procedures training.
